FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Quick, honest answers from the Youngrup team for teachers, trip coordinators and school leadership.
Is Youngrup free for schools?
+
Yes. Schools never pay Youngrup. Our service is funded by the provider partners we work with, so there are no fees, retainers or commitments for educators.
How many proposals will I receive?
+
Typically between two and four tailored proposals, depending on your dates, destination, group size and the type of programme you are planning.
Who do I contract with?
+
Always directly with the partner you choose. Youngrup sources and matches — the booking, contract and payment sit between your school and the selected provider.
Is Youngrup a travel agency?
+
No. Youngrup is a sourcing and matching platform for schools. We do not sell packages, hold inventory or act as a tour operator.
Can I request only accommodation?
+
Yes. You can request only accommodation, only activities, or a full programme combining the two. Tell us what you need in your brief and we will source partners accordingly.
Can I request only activities?
+
Yes. Many schools already have accommodation arranged and use Youngrup only to source educational visits, workshops, language sessions or excursions.
Do you work with international schools?
+
Yes. We regularly support IB, British, American, bilingual and other international schools across Europe travelling to Portugal and Spain.
Do you support Portugal and Spain?
+
Yes. Youngrup specialises in Portugal and Spain. We do not currently source trips for other destinations.
What group sizes do you support?
+
We work with groups of all sizes — from small classes of around 15 students to multi-class school trips of 100+ participants.
How quickly will I receive proposals?
+
Most schools receive their first proposals within a few working days. Average end-to-end response time is around 48 hours from a complete brief.
